Strapping dispensers

Strapping dispensers hold your strap coils on a steel frame at each packing point. If your team carries heavy reels across the warehouse floor or spends time untangling bands, a dispenser removes that wasted effort.

We stock four steel dispensers covering PET, PP, composite, textile and steel strap.

Strapping dispensers

Strapping dispensers: why loose coils cost you time

Strap coils left on the floor or propped against a wall tangle, pick up dirt and unwind in the wrong direction. The operator walks back and forth between coil and load. A steel dispenser holds the reel upright and feeds the band evenly.

Four strapping dispensers matched to four strap families

Every dispenser in this category is sized for one coil format. Start from the strap material you already buy.

PET and PP strap

The Cart 405/406 takes polyester and polypropylene strap in widths from 10 to 19 mm. It includes a toolbox (370 x 200 x 100 mm) for seals and hand tools, so everything you need stays on the unit. Frame size: 550 x 400 x 1050 mm. Loaded weight: 50 kg. Empty weight: 17 kg.

Cord and composite band

The HC2 holds PP, cord and composite band on a Ø200 mm core. A braking mechanism provides tension control during unwinding, and a storage tray keeps accessories within reach. Frame size: 550 x 400 x 1050 mm. Loaded weight: 50 kg. Empty weight: 6 kg.

Textile and woven strap

The Woven Strap Dispenser Ø76 mm is a compact steel unit measuring 350 x 350 x 450 mm. It weighs 3.5 kg and carries up to 20 kg of textile or woven strap on a Ø76 mm core. The frame prevents the band from tangling during payout.

Ribbon steel strap

The HS5 is purpose-built for ribbon-wound steel strapping. Frame size: 1020 x 680 x 310 mm. Empty weight: 15 kg. Loaded weight: 50 kg. An ergonomic handle and wheels allow one person to reposition it between packing stations. The HS5 suits manufacturing, warehousing, shipping and construction operations.

Choosing the right strapping dispenser

Three criteria determine which dispenser fits your operation:

  • Strap material. PET/PP, cord/composite, textile and steel each need a dedicated dispenser.
  • Coil core diameter. Check the inner diameter printed on the coils you purchase. The HC2 accepts Ø200 mm cores; the textile dispenser accepts Ø76 mm cores. The HS5 takes ribbon-wound steel coils.
  • Loaded weight. The textile dispenser is rated at 20 kg. The PET/PP, cord/composite and steel models are each rated at 50 kg. Compare these figures with the weight of the heaviest coil you stock.

What else a strapping station requires

Strapping dispensers hold and feed the strap, but they do not tension, seal or cut it. A complete packing station also needs:

  • Strap in the correct material, width and thickness for your loads.
  • Seals or buckles that match the strap width and type.
  • A strapping tool to tension and close the strap, whether manual, pneumatic or battery-powered.

When you set up a new packing area, verify that the coil core diameter fits the dispenser and that the strap width falls within the range your tool accepts. Getting these three components right from the start avoids mismatches and re-ordering.
